PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN PERKEMBANGAN TEKNOLOGI TERHADAP MINAT BACA SISWA DI SMKN 9 KAB. TANGERANG

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Influence of Social Environment and Technological Development on Students' Reading Interest at SMKN 9 Tangerang Regency. Reading interest can be influenced by several factors, including social environment and technological development, the object of this study was students of SMKN 9 Tangerang Regency. The sample used was 48 students. The analysis used was multiple linear regression. The results of the regression analysis between the social environment and technological development on students' reading interest obtained positive results of Y = 53,560 + 0.534 X1 + 0.269 X2. The results of the hypothesis test using the t test showed significant results with a significance of 0.000 and 0.000 <a = 0.05. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the social environment and technological development have a positive and significant effect on students' reading interest.
