REDESIGN DRAINASE DI PERUMAHAN MUTIARA DUTA DAN KOMPLEK PELNI KOTA DEPOK

Abstract

Mutiara Duta Housing and Pelni Complex are flood hotspots in Depok City. One of the causes is the narrowing of drainage from the Pelni Complex through the Pearl Duta housing complex due to changes in land use. Apart from that, the flooding that occurred at the Pelni complex was also caused by the overflow of the Laya River from Taman Duta. The increasing intensity of rain and the reduction in catchment areas due to settlements have resulted in large water runoff and the existing drainage discharge cannot accommodate the flood discharge. The way to overcome the problem of flooding or inundation requires a good drainage system, supported by various related planning aspects. From the calculations, the planned flood discharge for the 10 year return period (Q10) using the rational method is 5.09275 m3/second. One of the existing Primary Drainage channels currently does not meet the requirements, while the dimensions of the other existing drainage channels still meet the requirements. For this reason, it is necessary to re-plan the Primary A drainage channel with an appropriate system, so that the drainage in Mutiara Duta Housing and Pelni Complex is able to accommodate the planned flood discharge. From the calculation results, the Redesign dimensions are obtained.
