Abstract

Goat farming has an important role in the livestock sector in Indonesia, providing benefits in the form of meat, milk, skin, and natural fertilizer. Goat productivity is influenced by the availability of adequate feed, where goats are able to give birth to 6-9 kids every two years. Goat meat is also healthier because it is low in saturated fat and cholesterol. This study aims to optimize production, marketing, and financial management strategies for goat farmers. This study uses quantitative methods with observation and interviews as the main data collection techniques. The research results in this PKM activity provide guidance for farmers in good livestock management. In Bantar Panjang village, the success of livestock business is determined by three main factors, namely the selection of superior seeds, the availability of feed, and proper management. It is hoped that this research can increase the productivity and income of farmers through a more systematic approach.
