Abstract

Development of goat farming in Bantar Panjang Village as a tactic to improve the local economy. The introduction highlights the potential of goats in producing meat, milk, and organic fertilizer, as well as the challenges faced, such as varying access to technology and capital. The research method used observation and interviews to obtain data from the community about conditions and available resources. The research findings show that, despite social conflicts and management challenges, the village has resources to support livestock farming. The discussion highlights the importance of program themes to increase the number of farmers and awareness of waste management that can be used to produce biogas. It is hoped that this research can make a significant contribution to the development of local rural communities based on the potential for environmental sustainability.
