The government through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing has set a target for smart living by 2030, which includes 100% service of the piped drinking water supply system. In efforts to achieve this target, it also encompasses the sub-districts of Seulimeum and Kua Cot Glie in Aceh Besar Regency. This research aims to obtain an effective and efficient drinking water distribution network design according to the local topography following technical regulation standards to meet the community's water needs. The research method starts from data collection, data analysis, network design, hydraulic modeling tests, to depiction. This research is conducted to address water needs with a projection of population growth for the next 15 years covering 2 sub-districts. The hydraulic modeling uses the WaterGEMS program, a software developed by Bentley Corp. The modeling results show the required length and diameter of the pipes according to the design of the network, starting from the main distribution network, the secondary distribution network to the service distribution network, the type of pipes chosen, and safety controls related to adequate flow rates in each service area up to household connections, controlled pipe pressure, and safe speeds against sedimentation risks..
