Abstract

Reading comprehension is one aspect of language skills that students must master, with this problem the researcher uses wordwall media. Wordwall is an interesting application to use to improve reading comprehension skills. The concept of learning while playing is suitable for use during learning so that students don't feel bored. Wordwall has a simple design and has various features and templates ranging from quizzes, word searches, and so on. By using a quasi-experimental research method from the background of the problem using a control class and an experimental class, the researchers found quite satisfactory results. After conducting a post-test for both classes using different media, they saw significant differences, namely the control class obtained an average score of 68, 52 while the experimental class obtained an average score of 75. From the results of this presentation it can be concluded that the use of wordwall media has quite an influence on the ability to read and comprehend in descriptive text material for class VII MTs Hidayaturrohman.
